Learn to Be Yourself

Do you know who you are? Really think about it and ask yourself, “Do I really know who I am?” Sometimes even if you think that you are aware of what is going on inside of you that you might not really know who or what you are doing.

You might know who you are but are you being who you are meant to be? Here are some things to ask yourself:

  • Do you act the same at work as you do when you are at home?
  • Do you have the same friends that your spouse has?
  • Do you act differently and feel forced to be someone else in different situations?

The answers to the first two are often no and the last one is sometimes yes. Sometimes we feel that we have to be someone different depending on the situation but that is not really the truth.

If you are always trying to be something else, you will miss out on accomplishing what you are really meant to be doing.

You have to pay attention to who you are and how you behave and talk in all aspects of your life.

Changing

You should never try to change yourself and feel that you would belong better if you did. Maybe you feel that you are an outsider in most social situations and if you changed then you would be liked more.

The truth is people will often rebel against society and say that people just don’t get them and that will cause them to be more childish and to not reach their goals.

You should never feel forced to apologize for who you are. This does not mean you are being rebellious or even that you don’t fit in, sometimes you just feel that you cannot be who you are supposed to be.

Why Not Change?

Changing is something that you should only do when you want to change and not because someone tells you that you need to. You are who you are, and you should always be that person.

You need to change the way that you think of things and learn to manage yourself the best way that you can. You should always try to be better and to be yourself along the way.

Who Not to Be?

If you don’t want to change your life, then don’t. Who do you want to be? Figure out what you want in life and then make those changes that are made up of what you want.

Recognize who you don’t want to be and make sure that you are not that person. Be yourself all the time and know who you are.

Not everyone will like you and if you are able to love yourself then it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks about you.

Figure out what your worth is and know that you are worthy. Be who you are and who you were meant to be and do not let the world influence you otherwise.
